Green Energy Home Project

You can implement a green energy home project in several ways.If you are constructing a new house, then this is the best time to implement green technology.

If your green energy home project can generate surplus energy then you can always sell the same to the utility company and start earning a nice income. With increasing price of crude oil and as the level of air pollution increases the best way to conserve energy and protect the environment is to go for a green energy home.

If you have sufficient breeze all year round and few hundred square yards of space, then you can install a windmill. You will also require space on your rooftop that has no obstructing trees and buildings in the near vicinity. You can install solar energy based water heaters instead of electricity based water heaters. All these green energy home projects will not only save you money and provide clean energy but also reduce your dependence on the utility company and fossil fuels for energy requirements.

Windmill electricity can actually power your entire home and save on electricity bills. This system can be easily built at home using step-by-step guides that can be purchased from Internet. The feasibility of a solar energy based project will depend of the availability of sunlight throughout the year.

If you live in a place that has a steady stream of water, then you can use water to rotate a turbine that can generate electricity for you.A third option for building a green energy home is to make use of water for generating electricity. Many governments around the world are encouraging these projects and offer tax rebates and subsidies.

Another excellent option is to install solar panels that use photovoltaic cells to generate electricity from the rays of the sun.One of the easiest ways to start is by installing solar energy system at home.

           Installation :

This describes the steps to install Stack-N-Tack TM stone veneer siding for either new

        construction or remodeling.

        ~No brick ledge is required~

Waterproof Membrane- a self adhesive rubber flashing works well.

Openings - seal the flanges around the windows with self adhesive waterproof membrane.

And once the stone flashing reaches the bottom of the window you can put membrane over

the flashing then the sides and then finish with the top.

Inside Corner Flashing - with a 12inch self adhesive waterproof membrane or a 12inch

piece of aluminum with a 90 degree bend.

Bottom Flashing - 6 inches along the bottom with aluminum flashing or self adhesive

        waterproof membrane.

Lap Stone Veneer Installation - starting at the bottom check the leveling few stone, make

adjustments if necessary. There are different lengths of lap stone, when placing them on

the wall each seam on the lower course must be overlapped three inches. Saw cut might be

        required.

Nailing Lap Flashing - nailing the bottom one inch up and one inch over from the side.

Sills On Windows - sills must be screwed into place under the window, the top layer of

stone veneer must be sawed to fit and adhesive applied.

Corners - right and left corners must be staggered.
